ECG of the Week - 21st May 2012 - Interpretation

This weeks ECG is from a 40 year old female complaining of palpitations.

Rhythm:
  • Regular
  • Absent p waves

Axis:
  • Normal (+45 deg)
Intervals:
  • PR - No p waves visible
  • QRS - Normal (80ms)
  • QT - 200ms (QTc Bazette ~ 350 ms)
Segments:
  • ST Elevation aVR
  • ST Depression I, III, aVF, V3-6

Additional:

  • T wave inversion III



Interpretation


  • Narrow Complex Tachycardia
  • Absent p waves
  • ST Segment Changes


  • SVT likely AVNRT
